Peter Niemans Water Well Drilling

In season 18 of Heartland, the stars of the show find themselves in the heart of a drought and impending doom! With wells drying up and dugouts nothing but dust, Heartland Ranch calls Peter Niemans Water Well Drilling in hopes of saving their future.

On-screen, we are right in the middle of the plot, drilling holes (and hopefully a WELL), while showcasing our expertise and equipment. Off-screen, we were heavily involved in script revisions, props, special effects, and (maybe the most fun!) teaching ‘Jack’ how to witch with a willow branch. Throughout our time on Heartland, we were treated like royalty by the cast and crew, and enjoyed our all-access pass to the making of Canada's longest running TV show. 

This was an honour to do what we do, right in our backyard, and an experience we never imagined. Thank you to CBC and everyone involved with Heartland.

Due to entertainment laws and restrictions our company name was not used on our equipment or within the dialogue, although you will recognize the name of the ‘lead’ driller and recognize the face of the drill operator, as our big red rig drill and big blue support truck work.
